Manaslu Trekking
Trekking around Manaslu offers a unique opportunity to experience a relatively "untouched" region of Nepal. Opened for trekking only since 1991 , it provides spectacular beauty along the border of Nepal and Tibet. This controlled trekking route is only allowed by organized trekking groups and needs a special permit.   Located in west-central Nepal, the 177-km trek around Manaslu provides medium-strong walkers the best that Nepal has to offer: fantastic mountain scenery, spanning altitudes from 1375 m to 5.416 m. a diverse range of ecosystems and ethnic cultures. Finally the trekking is joining the Annapurna circuit and after having crossed to Thorung La Pass (5416 m) it goes trough the sanctuary Muktinath valley. At the end there will be two flights from Jomsom to Pokhara and from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
