Murfreit "Zirm Cueciun"

At the Murfreit Group; near the natural climbing wall, on the right side of the waterfall edge.

First ascent: in August 1998 with Benno Vinatzer
The rock is very good with a difficult key rope pitch in the middle.
Height of the wall: about 180 m
Rope pitches: 5
Grade of difficulty: upper 6 th

The key rope pitch has not been climbed free yet.

The black slabs with its red edges can be seen from the road.

The Ladin name means “Red Fir” as there is a small fir near the escape of the route and because of the red colour of the wall.

Descent: towards Passo Gardena over the large shelf.
